Kenya is a country on the coast of East Africa with a population of 39,002,772.  Its official languages are English and Kiswahili, and its people are predominantly Protestant and Roman Catholic (CIA World Factbook).  There is a high rate of school dropout, with 9 out of 10 children not completing a basic education (UNICEF).  Children in Kenya face risks from malnourishment, drought, HIV/AIDS, spread of other preventable disease, and human sex trafficking (UNICEF).

Partners. New City Fellowship in Niarobi.  The team in Niarobi will coordinate the efforts of CFE in this whole region of east africa including Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Congo.

This is our first year to Partner with Kenya, but have had a long standing relationship with our coordinators on the ground in Niarobi.
